John Manders has been providing physiotherapy services for more than a decade in and around the Maidenhead area. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist he had extensive experience as a Fitness Instructor. He therefore uses this knowledge to ensure all aspects are covered in the recovery from injury back to full fitness. John began his adult life completing two degrees, the first in Sports Science at Kingston University and the second in Physiotherapy and Brunel University. During his Physiotherapy degree he completed numerous hospital placements in many of the large London teaching hospitals and one at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre – Headley Court (National rehabilitation unit for the Military).
John worked in the NHS covering the areas of Respiratory, Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapy, before becoming a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in the field of Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy. He then moved to The Police Rehabilitation Centre as a Senior Physiotherapist in a very busy department, treating Police officers who present with a range of conditions including low back pain and neck pain, day to day aches and pains, sports injuries and complex multi-trauma.
